Who I Am: A Marketer’s Journey

Hello, I'm Brett Pinkleton, and I'm thrilled to have you visit my corner of the web. Let me share a bit about my journey.

I grew up in the small college and farming town of Pullman, Washington. In 2012, I moved to Portland, Oregon, a city that captured my heart with its unique culture, kind people, and incredible natural beauty. After a decade in Portland I am grateful to call this place home.

Initially, I pursued my passion for the culinary arts and worked as a cook for several years in the Portland metro area. However, my desire to obtain my college education led me to Portland Community College and later, Portland State University. In 2021, I proudly donned my cap and gown as a graduate with a degree in business marketing. I graduated with honors, earning 3.92 GPA. My time in college was transformative, connecting me with brilliant minds and equipping me with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the dynamic world of marketing.

Most recently, I had the privilege of interning as a marketing specialist for Washington State University’s Murrow College of Communication. During my time as an intern, I gained valuable experience such as creating a social media marketing guide, designing promotional flyers, auditing Murrow’s website, and designing and curating social media posts. This experience honed my marketing acumen and deepened my passion for strategic communication and brand development.

Today, I'm embarking on an exciting new chapter, seeking fresh opportunities in marketing and communications. I'm passionate about leveraging my skills and knowledge to create compelling marketing strategies that connect brands with their audiences, and I can't wait to explore the possibilities that lie ahead.

Join me on my journey as I continue to grow, learn, and contribute to the ever-evolving marketing landscape. Feel free to get in touch, and together, let's explore how we can work together to create impactful marketing solutions.
